 Ok; I've got more feedback against the prefix than in favor of keeping
 it, and I checked other sites and many don't use prefixes.

 Sorry for people who liked the prefix; it's one transition to go
 through.  A frequent question is how to configure gmail to filter by
 list-id; http://journal.boblycat.org/node/2752 seems to have some
 advice for filters.
