I'm seeing the same thing:

$git push linaro  HEAD
Counting objects: 5, done.
Delta compression using up to 4 threads.
Compressing objects: 100% (2/2), done.
Writing objects: 100% (3/3), 454 bytes, done.
Total 3 (delta 1), reused 0 (delta 0)
error: insufficient permission for adding an object to repository
database ./objects

fatal: failed to write object
error: unpack failed: unpack-objects abnormal exit
To ssh://pfefferz@git.linaro.org/srv/git.linaro.org/git/android/toolchain/manifest.git
 ! [remote rejected] HEAD -> toolchain-11.07-release (n/a (unpacker error))
error: failed to push some refs to
'ssh://pfefferz@git.linaro.org/srv/git.linaro.org/git/android/toolchain/manifest.git'

Any ideas Paul?
