= 1109 plans = Check the status report link for more details
- UMM: https://launchpad.net/linaro-mm-sig/+milestone/2011.09
- ARMHF - work items from the following blueprints
https://blueprints.launchpad.net/linaro/+spec/linaro-octo-armhf-benchmarks
https://blueprints.launchpad.net/linaro/+spec/linaro-platforms-o-armhf-cross-compilers
- Boot Architecture/Device Tree: work items from the following blueprints
https://blueprints.launchpad.net/linaro/+spec/linaro-kernel-o-bootarchitecture
https://blueprints.launchpad.net/linaro/+spec/linaro-kernel-o-devicetree
- ARM Servers:
https://blueprints.launchpad.net/linaro/+spec/linaro-platforms-o-network-boot
= Highlights =
- Hardfloat: continuing the work for benchmarking, runtime linker, and
build farm for debian/ubuntu. Also started experimenting with ChromeOS
- Servers: there are now patches for Debian installer, as well as uboot.
Looking at the future the focus will be on getting a Cobbler system
tested and documented, as well as low end (eg 4 x A15, 2 x GPUs) and
scheduler (Paul will be writing up related to the current capabilities
of the scheduler)
- Other items:
- WebOS: started looking into booting to webstack
- Need to schedule some technical discussions with TSC some
preliminary suggestions were:
Getting emulation in better shape, on x86, slow but should work, documented
Low end ARM server scheduler
Boot architecture - defining stacks (UEFI layered over the Linux
kernel, for example)
COMMENT: what communities should we be getting involved with?
Web performance, not just JITs, but the whole experience (faster code,
start up time)
Security
