[ACTIVITY] OCTO status report - wk36.2011 (20110905-20110909)

Highlights:
- regarding 1109 work is progressing - details are in the status link
above. The only item which may not be completed during 1109 is  the
runtime linker patches. The build farm was put together by Steve
McIntyre (see http://blog.einval.com/2011/09/05#armhf_buildds for some
details).

- Mozilla discussions are ongoing - Loïc has provided some feedback on
what is the preliminary scope, involving two potential threads :
(performance optimised) Firefox on Android, and boot-to-gecko. Both seem
to be areas where Linaro could contribute.

- UMM work is progressing. Documentation is becoming available through
presentations (see in
https://wiki.linaro.org/OfficeofCTO/MemoryManagement?action=AttachFile&do=view&target=CMA.pdf
and
https://wiki.linaro.org/OfficeofCTO/MemoryManagement?action=AttachFile&do=view&target=DMA_Buffer.pdf).

- Also this coming week we will resume the Boot Architecture discussions.
