Not currently. Due to the issues with persistence, we do not deploy any devices which offer that support in any public LAVA instances. You really do need to use deploy and boot actions. Do not think that primary connections are a shortcut, they are a dead end which will waste more time than actually doing the deployment and boot for every test job.

You're looking for SSH Primary Connection which is not a good way to run any tests due to issues with persistence. The BBB should always be re-deployed and re-booted at the start of every test job.

Some calls can only be made against specific actions. Specifically, the prepare-scp-overlay action needs the IP address of the host device to be able to copy the LAVA overlay (containing the test definitions) onto the device before connecting using ssh to start the test. This is a complex configuration to write.
