Stretch has been updated in 9.5 to include the security fixes for LAVA as the 2016.12-3 release. Nevertheless, all Stretch users are recommended to configure stretch-backports and install 2018.5.post1-2~bpo9+1 which removes V1 support to provide full V2 support.
