Below is the question in full:
hi,
I am using Android on an STB my problem is to change frame buffer timimg mode with a minimum impact on the graphic interface.
Now the easy solution I use is to start stop the whole thing. it takes around 15s ,
What would be the safest way to do it, Am thinking changing the mode with fbset and the GUI application would adapt itself to the new resolution without stopping the starting the whole thing?
This is a common use case in a STB or a TV.
