I'm a programming student and owner of Samsung GT-I8160 phone.
According to producer specification NovaThor U8500 should run at 1GHz CPU frequency (like it's in other phones such as GT-I9070 or GT-I8190). Unfortunately, my phone is underclocked to 800MHz and I really want to change this.
I've made research and asked in many places (such as xda-developers) but no one have made overclocking in NovaThor chipsets yet. The only thing I found is underclocking GT-I9070 which is done by special kernel module that uses prcmu_qos_update_requirement function but I can't find any more information about it.
Now I'm asking you for help, if you have any ideas how to overclock NovaThor CPUs that would be so good news for a lot of people.
