Unfortunately there are no instructions for this in the download page of the prebuild image (landing-panda.img is the only file mentioned in this section):

Using pre-built image

# Insert SD card and note the assigned '/dev/sdX' or '/dev/mmcblk0'
$ dmesg

$ SDCARD=/dev/sdX # sdcard found from dmesg above
$ URL=http://releases.linaro.org/12.01/android/images/landing-panda/landing-panda.img.gz
$ curl $URL | gunzip -c | sudo dd bs=64k of=$SDCARD
Note: Windows users may use the Image Writer for Windows

It would be very much appreciated if you could provide more detailed instructions about this on next working day in the office.......

The correct version is always in the download page of the prebuild image. I'm
with mobile and I can't help.
