Could Linaro Android 4.4.2 for arndale-octa board use the 3.4 kernel directly(insignal company)?

and if i copied the kernel from git.insignal.org , how to make the Linaro android 4.4.2 work ?

I noticed that Linaro android just use one instruction to build the android system,if i change the kernel,i think must 

change some configure files.

Could you please give me some instruction or materials about it??
