  Yes, I eventually decided not to use XBMC on hardware without 3D, and use qtmediahub instead.
   
   And, I have run XBMC on pandaboard and found out that XBMC requires a lot of CPU(often 90%+). So on hardware without 3D, it is impossilbe to run...

I don't know if Ricardo answered, but unless XBMC has a non-composited
2D mode, I think it's unlikely. You're asking a lot of the CPU, and I
don't think the memory is fast enough to handle all the copies.
