<br>== Summary ==<br>cortex-strings 1.0 released <br>
 * This will be used as a basis for getting the string routines into the common C libraries.<br>
 * GLIBC is underway with one routine<br>
 * Started investigating newlib<br>

Browser benchmarks:<br>
 * Investigating the basics of building Firefox and using it as a browsing and JavaScript benchmark<br>
<br>
Sync primitives:<br>
 * Blocked on upstream GCC review.  All other components including QEMU and GLIBC are upstream.<br>
<br>
Binary toolchains:<br>
 * Wrote up a specification, began discussion.<br>
 * Looking into tools for doing the build and test.  crosstool-ng looks decent.<br>
<br>
QEMU and A15:<br>
 * Working on usermode support for the new A15 instructions.  Will allow testing the A15 version of GCC when it comes out of ARM.<br>
 * Discussed A15 system mode, split out into blueprints and cards<br>
<br>
GCC performance:<br>
 * Keeping on.<br>
