I have struggled today for some time to soft-reset panda board because<br>

My kernel was crashing after uncompressing linux... print. I didn&#39;t<br>
had a debugger<br>
to see value of __log_buf variable. So i wanted to soft reset the board and<br>
check content of memory at address pointed by __log_buf.<br>

I wanted to keep the contents of RAM as it is, so can&#39;t reboot it by unplugging<br>
the power cable.<br>
<br>
At last i found the trick to soft-reset the board with help of S1<br>
button. Following<br>
are the steps:<br>
<br>
- Press S1 once, LED D1 will switch off<br>
- remove SD card<br>
- reinsert the card<br>
- Press S1 again, LED D1 will switch on and board is rebooted, keeping RAM&#39;s<br>
contents as is.<br>
<br>
Hope, this will help somebody in future.<br>
