Hello,

I contacted the linaro support but there is no answer. I would appreciate some help with the following:

I have downloaded  http://releases.linaro.org/14.05/components/toolchain/binaries/gcc-linaro-arm-linux-gnueabihf-4.9-2014.05_linux.tar.xz

1) I untar the above tar file to a folder on my ubuntu desktop. Is that enough to use the toolchain?

2) I want to compile some c code targeting once armv7-a without neon, then armv7-a with neon, then armv7-a without thumb, then armv7-a with thumb.

I want to produce the relevant assembly files, but also the corresponding elf files.

Can you please provide me with the needed instrucations? I suppose I will have to use the as (assembler) and gcc.

Thank you
Papadopoulos Haris
