[PATCHv3] irqchip: arm-gic: take gic_lock when updating irq type

The kernel documentation states that the locking of the irq-chip registers should be handled by the irq-chip driver. In the irq-gic, the accesses to the irqchip are seemingly not protected and multiple writes to SPIs from different irq descriptors do RMW requests without taking the irq-chip lock. When multiple irqs call the request_irq at the same time, there can be a simultaneous write at the gic distributor, leading to a race. Acquire the gic_lock when the irq_type is updated. [PATCH V4] ZBOOT: fix stack protector in compressed boot phase

Call __stack_chk_guard_setup() in decompress_kernel() is too late that stack checking always fails for decompress_kernel() itself. So remove __stack_chk_guard_setup() and initialize __stack_chk_guard before we call decompress_kernel(). Original code comes from ARM but also used for MIPS and SH, so fix them together. If without this fix, compressed booting of these archs will fail because stack checking is enabled by default (>=4.16). V1 -> V2: Fix build on ARM. V2 -> V3: Fix build on SuperH. Applied "ASoC: topology: Fix kcontrol name string handling" to the asoc tree

The patch ASoC: topology: Fix kcontrol name string handling has been applied to the asoc tree at https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/broonie/sound.git All being well this means that it will be integrated into the linux-next tree (usually sometime in the next 24 hours) and sent to Linus during the next merge window (or sooner if it is a bug fix), however if problems are discovered then the patch may be dropped or reverted. [PATCH v1] pwm: mediatek: improve precision in rate calculation

From: Sean Wang <sean.wang(a)mediatek.com> Add a way that turning resolution from in nanosecond into in picosecond to improve noticeably almost 4.5% precision. It's necessary to hold the new resolution with type u64 and thus related operations on u64 are applied instead in those rate calculations. And the patch has a dependency on [1].
