Subject: vexpress A9 Jelly Bean build is not up to date as expected.

Hi,
I noticed that since last Wednesday (5 December 2012), all vexpress A9
Jelly Bean build either FAILURE or NOT_BUILT. The latest successful
build is 121:
https://android-build.linaro.org/builds/~linaro-android/vexpress-jb-gcc47-a…
Last week, we picked build 117 as our weekly test target:
https://android-build.linaro.org/builds/~linaro-android/vexpress-jb-gcc47-a…
So there are only 4 builds between them. It seems not necessary to
test build 121 until a newer build is available.
Any idea?
@Soumya, Would you check with Android team about this vexpress A9
Jelly Bean build status? It should also be shown in Android daily test
dashboard if the compiling failed. If so, did you raise a bug for this
issue?
Thanks you.
Best Regards
Botao Sun

Hello Linaro:
I want to download the source of Linaro 12.10 Android for PandaBoard, however, when I was executing the "Repo sync", an error that a revision of git project "platforms\tools\pm-qa" was not found and the repo can not continue, I modify the manifest file to delete the project manually and the repo continues.
However, I encounter another similar issue "platforms\compiler\mclinker" not found. I am wondering whether you can provide me the solution to it. Just download the latest git project or just delete these projects or something else. I am looking forward to your reply

Hello all,
Is there a way of mirroring the Linaro Android repos locally?
For AOSP it can be done by using the special mirror manifest:
repo init -u https://android.googlesource.com/mirror/manifest --mirror
But there doesn't seem to be such a manifest for Linaro.
A special manifest is needed so that all the gits get downloaded to the
mirror and not just the ones used by a specific Linaro branch.
For the moment I'm using a custom script to create a mirror manifest from a
set of branches but it would be nicer to have it available directly.
Thanks,
Martin

Hello,
(please keep me in Cc: on replies as I'm not subscribed to
linaro-android)
I'm working on adding Galaxy Nexus support to LAVA using fastboot. This
is work in progress, but I can already get a full boot test to run on
the Nexus. :-)
I have one question for you.
I noticed that the builds for all other devices are made with tarballs,
and the LAVA jobs for them are also invoked passing tarballs.
The Galaxy Nexus builds, on the other hand, are released as .img files.
May I assume that the LAVA jobs you guys will be submitting for the
Galaxy Nexus will also use .img files (so that I don't need to handle
file format conversion etc), or is it useful for you to submitt tarballs
and have them converted into .img by LAVA? If so, please give me a
pointer with instructions on how to create those .img files.
Best regards,

Hello everyone,
the Infrastructure team is going to perform a small update of Android
Build frontend today at 12UTC. The deployment shouldn't take more than
10 minutes.
Only the frontend will be affected.
If the downtime will cause you significant problems, please get in
touch with us.
Thanks.

Hi,
I have the Android ICS source code from Linaro 12.07 release.
I am interested in seeing the Display driver's HAL for the OMAP4430 (Pandaboard)
Is the code under hardware/ti/omap4xxx/hwc/ correct place to look for
the display system's HAL code for omap44xx boards?
Does the TI omap44xx HAL hardware composer uses DRI/DRM interface to
drive the Display?
Does it uses the omapdrm driver in the linux kernel (drivers/staging/omapdrm/)?
Please provide some clearity on this.
Regards,
S.Sharavana

Shanmugam,
Feel free to take a look through:
https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkxwyUNxNaAadGVWd…
Its a sheet with the test results of all the panda builds we've done.
Our last ICS build with SGX graphics enablement for ICS looks like:
