Do you have the CLCD window selected before trying to grab the mouse by pressing the Left Ctrl and Left Alt keys?
From your screen-shot I see that it's the window titled "FVP terminal_0"
which has focus, not the "Fast Models - CLCD" window, which would be required for the mouse grab keys to work.
