I don't think this is an image setup. It's your environment.
Looking at the very bottom of the output it looks like minicom is set to 115200 8N1 but you probably want to double check.
Is your cable a known good cable?

hi i have used the android jelly bean image you have provided in site https://android-build.linaro.org/ for panda board ie;panda-linaro , i selected 296 from the list of builds and downloaded
boot.tar.bz2 system.tar.bz2 userdata.tar.bz2 as you've specified
and followed the instructions in that page for binary image installation. I attached flash to pandaboard and when connected to monitor it displays ANROID _ and screen stays only there, so i checked it using the minicom , then its console output it shows some kind of special characters while booting , it is shown below please reply to me why i can't boot the image properly and how can i do it successfully
