You definitely need to upgrade your uboot.
Do I need to flash the new uboot as specified by these instructions:
http://www.igloocommunity.org/support/Flashing_howto
If so the instructions have at 2 holes that I've found:
It says,
Due to differences in default U-Boot environment, these instructions will not work if you have flashed the Igloo Community Android Gingerbread releases, please flash the latest Ubuntu image to get a compatible U-Boot.
The GB release is STE specific and as such has its own way of packaging and working.
What if I've got some random Snowball? Shouldn't we list a particular uboot version to look for?
All snowball have been shipped with a very old snapshot of uboot and guaranteed to fail with the new lamc/lmc. It is mandatory to upgrade.
Also, the instructions have me go here:
http://www.igloocommunity.org/support/Index.php/Downloads
Which doesn't list an Ubuntu build.
All our builds are listed under "Linux BSP releases page."
Okay. Would you mind running through the instructions and generating a better, more conscience set, maybe with all the commands laid out? I'll then run through what you've done to verify.
can we make these better?
