Hi ,
I like to make sd cards with different android versions - for pandaboard hardware.
I did download the monthly releases - from 11-06 to 13-01 . Most of the releases do not boot - why does Linaro make monthly releases if they do not work?!
I did make sd card with the monthly releases both ways -
- using .img
- using - boot, system, user files, with linaro image maker
Only 2 releases did manage to boot - 11-11 , and 12-07 however 11-11 always crashes in less than 5 minutes, and 12-07 do not have a way to enable wi-fi , and no usb adb connection.
I went to - https://android-build.linaro.org/ Found the link to download do not work , for ex. - https://android-build.linaro.org/builds/~linaro-android-archive/panda-ics-gc...
Can you provide links to android images or boot/system/user files which can actually boot on pandaboard?
Hey Paul.
Thank you for trying out our images. Due to the nature of our Panda baselines they are not as stable as those that may be available at pandaboard.org. Specifically, this is due to the fact that most of our Panda builds run against the latest AOSP, kernel version and toolchain available at the time of release. Because of the variation in builds, we have a test sheet with all releases and test results:
https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkxwyUNxNaAadGVWd3...
Our last 13.02 build had fairly good results:
https://android-build.linaro.org/builds/~linaro-android-member-ti/panda-lina...
We did recently rename many builds. We have attempted to update old links but you may see some 404 errors. Please send mail if you hit one of these while browsing builds.
Thank you , Paul.
