Hi,
I would like to know if there is some plan to support the new revision of the i.MX53 ? There is a new PMIC so USB and others devices don't work anymore until this support. There is the support from FreeScale opensource repository and others repository but the version of the kernel is totally different from Linaro (2.6.38 for example for FreeScale and 3.1 for Linaro) but it seems to be the only solution to "adapt" the code from theses repository ...
Best regards,

Our Android group is lacking test hardware (we only have a couple of older iMX53s), but people on the Landing Team have mentioned this before. With any luck, their current (non-Android) Linux kernel has all the support we need on top of a more recent kernel. (We can easily reapply the Android patches on top of that).
Haitao, Paul, what's the status there? Should both the new and old boards work if we grab your current ubuntu kernel and apply the Android patches?
Thanks bero

Hi Bero,
Our kernel currently not working very well on the new PMIC board (Ripley board). There are some new bugs still needs to be solved on our side.
Yours Sincerely, Paul
