I've just been exploring it. I'm a bit ignorant of it still. It looks a bit like some tools around CTS. Investigating. I found it when I was looking around at usage of "ro.test_harness=true" (which seems to only work on the first boot, investigating that as well) which I found in: https://android.googlesource.com/platform/tools/tradefederation/+/05ff3c6229....

It also got me thinking about the use of per-device classes for test harnessing...
