The device tree support also need a patch on LAMC, but that is not finished yet. ( https://code.launchpad.net/~patrik-ryd/linaro-image-tools/linaro-image-tools )

Those are pretty much no-risk and look good, except I don't like the idea of modifying semi-public API+ABI in a #ifdef BOARD (what if any app built with the NDK uses those classes?)
However, given there probably is no other way to work with the current driver blob and it doesn't hurt any other boards, I've submitted it.

I have added the latest vendor tarball and started a new build to the stable blob a few minutes ago.

I have answered you questions in Gerrit.
I know the two .rc files are identical. I just copied the one for from the stable build to have a starting point for the tracking build. I expect them to diverge over time.
The two snowball builds are actually so different that I have thought about creating a second snowball device.
