Hey everyone!
I need some advice on the following topic:
Discuss how representative 'panda-ics-tracking' is vs other builds
This is related to this blueprint: https://blueprints.launchpad.net/linaro-android/+spec/build-tests
I did all my analysis of tests present in AOSP on the panda tree (both source an binary). I assume that's pretty representative and I don't need to repeat the work for snowball/vexpress/etc but I'd like your opinion on this topic.
Thanks ZK
I put something to together to answer this:
https://wiki.linaro.org/Platform/Android/WhichBuild
but it doesn't answer everything. The short and the long of it, is that tracking tracks the TI landing team's kernel, which tries to maintain functionality on the tip Linux kernel. There are other trees based on the OMAPZoom and AOSP kernels. These are listed in the Wiki.

So that topic deserves an update.
I'll re-run the script that looks for TARGET_BUILD_VARIANT on other trees. With the help of our Community (specifically Romain Rerier aka bambee) we've got snowball analysis alongside the existing panda analysis. I'll try to get snowball and other panda (omapzoom) builds analyzed as well.
All of the new contributions are in: https://github.com/zyga/android-test-tools
Thanks for restarting this topic Zach! ZK
