IS re-enabled gitweb today, after making adjustments to disable tarball snapshot and some other potentially CPU-hogging features. You can read my hypothesis why we got "sudden" DDoS like that at the tracking bug, https://bugs.launchpad.net/linaro-android-infrastructure/+bug/1023800

The host works well so far, no big load from gitweb and overall load <10. If you experience any issues with git/gerrit access, let us know.
