*Hi,* *12.12 r1 Test Summary. Here is test result summary for Linaro Android platform on following boards:* *Android jb Release* *1. ST-Ericsson Snowball.* 1. *Samsung Origen.* 2. *ARM Vexpress-A9* 3. *Pandaboard 4430 and 4460.* 4. *openembedded armV8.* *Synopsis:* In our 12.12 Android jellybean 4.2.1 the following changes are observed. summary report as under. - ST Ericsson Snowball android jellybean 4.2.1 builds normally audio, youtube, playback of video, wifi, bluetooth, usb-camera, gallery, calender, people, email, speach recorder is not working. Device-Tree is not found. Phone-app is missing, misc catagories of 0xbench is failed to run. Otherthan that no major bug fixed in this release. - Samsung Origen Android jelly-bean 4.2.1 release candidate builds some major bugs is fixed on this release. Eth0 is working after manually config it from command line(ping test is OK), audio/sound is working on this build, no problem on running angrybird apps, sd card mmount fail, 0xbenchmark test fail, youtube, audio, wifi, bluetooth, usb-camera test failed. Device-tree is not present, calender and people cant sync, email cant sync. - Vexpress A9 android jelly-bean 4.2.1 release candidate build no new bugs is found with the builds, device-tree is not supported on A9, sd-mmc partition is unavilable, Suspend-Resume work ok, Missing GL ES 2.0 drivers, adb-dwm is not working, adb-ethernet is working, angrybird is working properly, usb-cam apps is missing with the builds, thethering feature is unavilable, youtube, video-playback and speach-recorder are failed, sd-mmc multimedia files is not shown from gallery. - Pandaboard 4430 and Pandaboard ES 4460 , android jellybean 4.2.1 release candidate test result: some major bugs is fixed in this release builds. Ethernet eth0 is working fine either you config from command line or from ECM, glmark2 is working properly, calender add event is start working properly, people and e-mail sync is work fine. Linaro 12.12 Release (Calendar Week 51): Here is test result summary for Linux Linaro ubuntu Quantal image on following boards: 1) ARM Versatile Express A9; 2) Samsung Origen; 3) TI Panda 4430; 4) TI Panda 4460; 5) ST Ericsson Snowball. Synopsis: For the major issues, they are: ST Ericsson Snowball boots failed, and no network connection on Samsung Origen. The other boards work well on most of features. 1. ARM Versatile Express A9 + Linux Linaro Quantal (Column E): https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AroPySpr4FnEdFNmV… It keeps exactly same status as last week: only "Halt" & "Device Tree" test failed, all other features work well. 2. Samsung Origen + Linux Linaro Quantal (Column E): https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AroPySpr4FnEdEowN… Exactly same test result as last week: network connection is unavailable, "reboot" & "halt" test failed.. Power Management test would hang system when run test "cpuhotplug_02". 3. TI Panda 4430 + Linux Linaro Quantal (Column E): https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AroPySpr4FnEdEwwZ… ARM DS-5 backs to work. All 3 tests, data streaming, remote SSH connection and on target application debug passed. Device Tree is unavailable, the directory "/proc/device-tree" is empty. A new issue here is power management test "cpuhotplug_07" failed. However, this test passed on TI Panda 4460. 4. making linux-linaro accessible for release tewm

Hi Andrey, we realized that we are not technically adept/trained enough in release team to understand how to put a patch into linux-linaro. Fixing this is very important. I see a few things: 1. make it super easy to get the current manifest 2. make it super easy to add a new topic to the manifest 3. make it super easy to refold linux-linaro with changes 4. understand how the defconfig config fragment stuff is handled. Calendar Week 50: Here is test result summary for Linux Linaro ubuntu Quantal image on following boards: 1) ARM Versatile Express A9; 2) Samsung Origen; 3) TI Panda 4430; 4) TI Panda 4460; 5) ST Ericsson Snowball. Synopsis: All Linux Linaro ubuntu Quantal builds for above boards are available. No network connection on Samsung Origen; ST Ericsson Snowball boots failed. Device Tree is unavailable except on Samsung Origen. 1. ARM Versatile Express A9 + Linux Linaro Quantal (Column D): https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AroPySpr4FnEdFNmV… Only "Halt" & "Device Tree" test failed, all other features work well. 2. vexpress A9 Jelly Bean build is not up to date as expected.

Hi, I noticed that since last Wednesday (5 December 2012), all vexpress A9 Jelly Bean build either FAILURE or NOT_BUILT. The latest successful build is 121: https://android-build.linaro.org/builds/~linaro-android/vexpress-jb-gcc47-a… Last week, we picked build 117 as our weekly test target: https://android-build.linaro.org/builds/~linaro-android/vexpress-jb-gcc47-a… So there are only 4 builds between them. It seems not necessary to test build 121 until a newer build is available. Any idea? @Soumya, Would you check with Android team about this vexpress A9 Jelly Bean build status? It should also be shown in Android daily test dashboard if the compiling failed. If so, did you raise a bug for this issue? Thanks you. Best Regards Botao Sun

Calendar Week 49: Here is test result summary for Linaro ubuntu image on following boards: 1) ARM Versatile Express A9; 2) Samsung Origen; 3) TI Panda 4430; 4) TI Panda 4460; 5) Open Embedded SDK; 6) Open Embedded LAMP; 7) Open Embedded Minimum; Synopsis: All ubuntu images have been upgraded to command based Linux Linaro Quantal images; All UI related test cases have been ignored; Open Embedded remains the exactly same status as last week. 1. ARM Versatile Express A9 + Linux Linaro Quantal (Column C): https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AroPySpr4FnEdFNmV… Data streaming failed in DS-5, Gator daemon doesn't exist in image. Device Tree is still unavailable, and "Halt" test failed either. All other features work well, 2. Samsung Origen + Linux Linaro Quantal (Column C): https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AroPySpr4FnEdEowN… Data streaming failed in DS-5, lava-test is not pre-installed in image, and this cause test "pwrmgmt" blocked. Also, "powertop" test will cause segmentation fault and kernel panic. No Internet connection on this image, neither Ethernet nor WiFi works. Both "reboot" & "halt" test failed. 3. TI Panda 4430 + Linux Linaro Quantal (Column C): https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AroPySpr4FnEdEwwZ… Data streaming failed in DS-5, the directory of device tree is empty, although the boot log shows it had been enabled during boot process. lava-test doesn't exist in image. All other feature work well. 4. TI Panda 4460 + Linux Linaro Quantal (Column C): https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AroPySpr4FnEdEwwZ… Exactly same as TI Panda 4430 above. 5. Open Embedded SDK in Fast Model (Column D): https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AgB-fT5LL31CdDhwR… All test passed. 6. Open Embedded LAMP in Fast Model (Column D): Same issue as previous week, kernel exception message occurred if show any PHP web page. All other test passed. 7.
