Hello,everyone!
I have bought the Arndale Octa board and LCD module, and now i haved downloaded the Linaro-android source code successfully.
Next , i want to make the LCD module work, but i find that the 3.12-rc2 kernel read the hardware information from the device-tree file , it's very different to Android 4.2.2 (Kernel 3.4.x),so I don't know how to do it? Could anyone help me??or provide me some advice.
Thanks very much!

I suggest you try using 3.4 kernel and binary blobs with Linaro android instead of trying to porting display driver onto newer kernel. Migrating android version would be much easier than kernel migration.
Could anyone help me??or provide me some advice.

Hi ,Vishal
Could Linaro Android 4.4.2 for arndale-octa board use the 3.4 kernel directly(insignal company)? and if i copied the kernel from git.insignal.org , how to make the Linaro android 4.4.2 work ? I noticed that Linaro android just use one instruction to build the android system,if i change the kernel,i think must change some configure files.
Could you please give me some instruction or materials about it??
Thanks very much!
