Greetings,
We are enabling BUILD-INFO.txt support for the publishing service. So all artifacts produced by the builds that don't have it will be inaccessible for download. Attached are lists with jobs that have SOURCE_OVERLAY and that don't have it in configuration. Please verify that your job has appropriate config option (i.e. protected one or open one if unprotected).
Hi Everyone,
I have proposed few people to update the builds. Please update the current daily builds for the boards as per the list here:
Pandaboard: Harigopal Snowball: Axel Vexpress: Axel Origen and Origen Quad: Amit Pundir Vexpress Restricted and RTSM builds: Vishal Zach you know which ones you need to take care of :) Galaxy Nexus, Nexus7: Bero
The source overlay for OPEN builds need to be set as : SOURCE_OVERLAY="open/20120716/build-info.tar.bz2"
The source overlay for the Restricted build is available here: http://snapshots.linaro.org/android/binaries/restricted/20121211/build-info....

I've updated: https://android-build.linaro.org/builds/~linaro-android/galaxynexus-jb-gcc47... https://android-build.linaro.org/builds/~linaro-android/galaxynexus-jb-gcctr... https://android-build.linaro.org/builds/~berolinux/nexus7-jb-gcc47-aosp-blob...
Do we need to do something in the toolchain builds as well? (e.g. create a similar BUILD-INFO.txt in the build scripts)? Also, is there a reason for BUILD-INFO.txt to have DOS style newlines? Looks a bit odd.

Vishal, Bernhard,
yes, I guess for now they should have open source overlay.

What's the best way to go about this, given the toolchains don't use Android.mk or the likes (so the regular overlay won't work)? Just add BUILD-INFO.txt generation to the Makefiles? Where does it need to go in the filesystem?

Looks like good option.
Where does it need to go in the filesystem?
In the same dir where the artifacts are produced, I guess it is top level dir.

Hi Vishal
For some of the panda builds, already SOURCE_OVERLAY is present for the others, I have updated.
Thanks and Regards, HariGopal G
