Hi.
I'm trying to install on a Pandaboard ES following these instructions:
https://android-build.linaro.org/builds/~linaro-android-member-ti/panda-lina...
I've tried the 812 and 815 builds, also tried "--align-boot-part" but each time there appears to be a bootloader issue, diag light stays solid green and no output on serial console. I can install the TI validation image onto the same 8GB sdcard and it boots fine.
Typescript of the install: http://pastebin.com/qqYXbqNT
There are some cylinder warnings which I'm not sure are relevant.
The instructions mention "Using the Prebuilt image. Download the pandaboard.img.bz2 and flash it.". I assume as an alternative to the above but I couldn't see where this image is available for download?
thanks!

I also tried the images@ http://releases.linaro.org/14.10/android/panda No difference.
I was using the packaging from here: https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/home:fboudra:Linaro It's pretty old so I branched and updated linaro-image-tools, python-debian and pyparted to latest versions. Switched to using the default 13.1/oss version of u-boot-tools and built qemu-arm-static from the devel virtualization project.
linaro-android-media-create now reports version 2014.08, it populated the sdcard without error but with the same cylinder warnings as before and it fails to boot as before.
I'm probably doing something wrong.

I don't see anything wrong in the procedure. Can you make sure serial port is working correctly for you ?

Like I said, if I boot the TI validation image it works fine (same for any other Linux distro panda image), that meant I see output on the serial port (115200). Also, for Linux images STATUS1 led is on at poweron but goes off after a couple of seconds, I believe at kernel setup. This isn't happening with the Android image, it's permanently on. I've tried different serial speeds (but I don't think that's the issue) and two different sdcards 8gb and 32gb from different vendors.
thanks
