Test Result Summary of Calendar Week 41 for Linaro ubuntu.

Calendar Week 41: Here is test result summary for Linaro ubuntu image on following boards: 1) ARM Versatile Express A9; 2) Samsung Origen; 3) TI Panda Board 4430; 4) TI Panda Board 4460. Synopsis: No change on feature status for vexpress A9 & Samsung Origen boards. Both HDMI & DVI-D back to work on Panda 4430 & 4460. For SD card flashing, now command "dd" backs to work on all images. 1. vexpress A9 + ubuntu (Column AD): https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AroPySpr4FnEdFNmV… Features' status is exactly same as previous week. 2. Origen + ubuntu (Column Y): https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AroPySpr4FnEdEowN… Features' status is exactly same as previous week. 3. Panda 4430 + ubuntu (Column AA): https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AroPySpr4FnEdEwwZ… Audio over HDMI doesn't work, and this causes no sound can be heard when using "rhythmbox" to play music. Bluetooth now let system crashes again, after pairing process. Also, system crashes during the Power Management test "lava-test run pwrmgmt", with log output flushing in serial console. 4. Panda 4460 + ubuntu (Column Y): https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AroPySpr4FnEdEwwZ… The test result on Panda 4460 is quite different with Panda 4430. On TI Panda 4460 board, Audio over HDMI works well, Bluetooth headset works well, and Power Management test works well. Hi, Calendar Week 40: Here is test result summary for Linaro Android platform on following boards: 1) ARM Versatile Express A9 2) ST-Ericsson Snowball Board 3) TI Panda Board 4430 4) TI Panda Board 4460 5) Samsung Origen Board *Synopsis: This week, Linaro Image Tool 12.09 version was used to flash SD-card for testing. **Installation instructions which were missing earlier are available now. **For panda we are back to tracking-blob build testing and test results look similar to week 38. On origen people,email and calendar application is not working. * Detail Report for all the boards: *1. ARM Versatile Express A9 - Android (Column J)* Test Results: https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkxwyUNxNaAadExQd… Installation instruction is available. Email, Calendar, glamrk2 don't work and all other features remain same status as previous week. *2) ST-Ericsson Snowball Board - Android(Column J)* Test Results: https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkxwyUNxNaAadEF1N… Install instruction are available. Same results as last week for other features. *3) TI Panda Board 4430 - Android(Column AA)* * * Test Results: https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkxwyUNxNaAadGVWd… On Panda board we are back to tracking-blob build and hardware graphics acceleration, glmark2, wifi, Bluetooth is not working. WiFi and Bluetooth are still unavailable and Ethernet Configuration Manager can't work properly either. Email app doesn't work, People app and Calendar app can't sync the content from Google server. Test Result Summary of Calendar Week 40 for Linaro ubuntu.

Calendar Week 40: Here is test result summary for Linaro ubuntu image on following boards: 1) ARM Versatile Express A9; 2) Samsung Origen; 3) TI Panda Board 4430; 4) TI Panda Board 4460. Synopsis: No change on feature status for vexpress A9 & Samsung Origen boards. For Panda board, both 4430 & 4460 failed on display, neither HDMI nor DVI-D works. More details can be found in bug 1060032. 1. vexpress A9 + ubuntu (Column AC): https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AroPySpr4FnEdFNmV… Features' status is exactly same as previous week. There are 2 major issues there, 480p video playback & device tree. For device tree, it's blocked by a UEFI defect, which Ryan is working on that. For 480p video playback, it has been unavailable for 12 weeks, hopefully someone will take a look at it. 2. Origen + ubuntu (Column X): https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AroPySpr4FnEdEowN… Command "dd" doesn't work for SD card flashing this week, and Linaro Image Tools finally works after a quick fix on bug 1059501. For features, they remain the same status as previous week. Perhaps it's time to start work on those important unavailable features, such like WiFi, Bluetooth, video playback and HDMI. 3. Panda 4430 + ubuntu (Column Z): https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AroPySpr4FnEdEwwZ… Display failed, neither HDMI nor DVI-D works. This problem blocks all tests related to system UI. Also, system crashes at the second time to run power management test command "# lava-test run pwrmgmt". 4. Panda 4460 + ubuntu (Column Y): https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AroPySpr4FnEdEwwZ… Display failed, same as Panda 4430, neither HDMI nor DVI-D works. The different thing is power management works well on this board, not like what happened on Panda 4430. All command line based test works well. Hi, Calendar Week 39: We had Linaro android 12.09 release this week. Here is test result summary on following boards: 1) ARM Versatile Express A9 2) ST-Ericsson Snowball Board 3) TI Panda Board 4430 4) TI Panda Board 4460 5) Samsung Origen Board *Synopsis: This week, Linaro Image Tool 12.09 version was used to flash SD-card for testing. Installation instructions are missing on all the android build pages. Glmark2 can now be run successfully on Snowball and Panda too. "Deadlock" error no longer exists on Vexpress-a9 board and for some reason "clock" application fails on Origen board. * Detail Report for all the boards: *1. ARM Versatile Express A9 - Android (Column I)* Test Results: https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkxwyUNxNaAadExQd… Installation instruction is missing. "DEADLOCK" error has been eliminated. Device Tree is still unavailable although the blob files now can be loaded successfully. This is an expected result since it's caused by a UEFI defect as Ryan mentioned before. Although "Calendar" app can be launched and shown successfully, bug 1057208 actually makes it unusable - failed to add any event item. All other features remain same status as previous week. *2) ST-Ericsson Snowball Board - Android(Column I)* Test Results: https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkxwyUNxNaAadEF1N… Install instruction missing on the build page. With 12.09 release "GLMARK2" test case is working which used to fail earlier. *3) TI Panda Board 4430 - Android(Column Z)* * * Test Results: https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkxwyUNxNaAadGVWd… On Panda board hardware graphics acceleration, glmark2 and 0xbench works fine with 12.09 release build. *4) TI Panda Board 4460(Column Q)* Test Results: https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkxwyUNxNaAadGVWd… Test results same as 4430. *5) Samsung Origen Board(Column D)* Test Results: https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkxwyUNxNaAadDRDV… Installation instruction is missing. Calendar Week 39: Here is test result summary for Linaro ubuntu 12.09 Release on following boards: 1) ARM Versatile Express A9; 2) Samsung Origen; 3) TI Panda Board 4430; 4) TI Panda Board 4460. *Synopsis: "DEADLOCK" error has disappeared during boot process, except on TI Panda platform, although it won't affect system running. Both 480p & 1080p videos can be played on Panda board with an extra package installed - "ubuntu-omap4-extras-multimedia". Device Tree feature is still unavailable on vexpress A9. WiFi, Bluetooth and video playback are unavailable on Samsung Origen.* 1. vexpress A9 + ubuntu (Column AB): https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AroPySpr4FnEdFNmV… Device Tree blob files have recovered, although this feature is still unavailable due to a UEFI defect, which Ryan is working on that. 480p video playback still doesn't work on this release image. YouTube HTML5 video now can be played, although the frame rate is low, which is as expected. All other features remain the same as last week. 2. Origen + ubuntu (Column W): https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AroPySpr4FnEdEowN… "DEADLOCK" error has gone on this image, and kernel version has been upgraded to 3.6.0-1. All other features remain the same as last week. 3. Panda 4430 + ubuntu (Column Y): https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AroPySpr4FnEdEwwZ… YouTube HTML5 video now can be played well, but due to Audio over HDMI failure, no sound can be heard. Although file transfer via Bluetooth is still unavailable, Bluetooth headset works well. 480p video on SD card can be played well if package "ubuntu-omap4-extras-multimedia" be installed in advance. 1080p video can be played with a low frame rate. All power management test has passed (or skipped properly) on this image. No significant change on all the other features. 4. Panda 4460 + ubuntu (Column X): https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AroPySpr4FnEdEwwZ… Bluetooth headset doesn't work here, it hangs the board during the pair process. Hardware acceleration works well. 3.5mm Audio input is still unavailable and suspend / resume test failed as well. No change on all the other features compare with last week test. Android - Test Result Summary for Calendar Week 38

Hi, Calendar Week 38: Here is test result summary for Linaro Android platform on following boards: 1) ARM Versatile Express A9 2) ST-Ericsson Snowball Board 3) TI Panda Board 4430 4) TI Panda Board 4460 5) Samsung Origen Board *Synopsis: Device-tree blob is still missing from Vexpress-A9. Ethernet is working fine on Panda 4430 & 4460 now but wifi is still an issue. Snowball and origen boards have similar results from last few weeks, no major issue on origen after target **switched from stable branch to tracking branch, **build tool chain for origen has been switched to 2012.09 version.* Detail Report for all the boards: *1. ARM Versatile Express A9 - Android (Column H)* Test Results: https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkxwyUNxNaAadExQd… No Major difference compared to the last 2 week testing. Ethernet is automatically configured and adb-usb is working fine. Calendar Week 38: Here is test result summary for Linaro ubuntu platform on following boards: 1) ARM Versatile Express A9; 2) Samsung Origen; 3) TI Panda Board 4430; 4) TI Panda Board 4460. *Synopsis: YouTube works on Panda 4460 but failed on all the other boards. All DS5 test passed on above 4 boards after pre-installed "arm-ds5-target" package.* 1. vexpress A9 + ubuntu (Column Z): https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AroPySpr4FnEdFNmV… Device tree blob files have disappeared for 6 weeks, and 480p video playback doesn't work for 2 months. Application debug in DS5 suite works well now, by pre-install "arm-ds5-target" package on target. YouTube totally doesn't work, only preview picture shows. 2. Origen + ubuntu (Column V): https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AroPySpr4FnEdEowN… Dead lock error exists for 9 weeks, Unity 3D is unavailable from the beginning, Mini HDMI output never works either. WiFi is unavailable for 4 weeks and Bluetooth is even broken for a longer time. 480p video playback doesn't work for 2 months, however, DS5 works well on all features with "arm-ds5-target" package pre-installed. 3. Panda 4430 + ubuntu (Column W): https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AroPySpr4FnEdEwwZ… YouTube HTML5 video playback failed again, it will hang the system. 480p video playback is unavailable for 2 months. Bluetooth headset works, but can't be powered off in paired condition, otherwise, it will hang the board. DS5 works. 4. Panda 4460 + ubuntu (Column W): https://docs.google.com/a/linaro.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AroPySpr4FnEdEwwZ… YouTube HTML5 video playback works well. However, 480p video playback from SD card is still unavailable for 9 weeks. Bluetooth works except file transfer failed, and a paired device can be shut down without any side effect. DS5 works.
