[PATCH] serial: amba-pl011: chance ACPI support to be clockless

Instead of making clock devices in ACPI which is non standard assume that the firmware is going to handle clock enable/disable for us and just read the clock rate from _PRP in ASL. This is currently prototype as it needs a new amba bus driver for ACPI as trying to interleive ACPI support in old driver leaves a mess of nested ifs. [PATCH linaro-acpi] [RFC] cpufreq: Add ACPI cpufreq support for ARM

Hi all, I would like to support acpi-cpufreq for ARM. For that, Firstly, I made new file which is a apci-freq-arm.c. But some people, such as Rafael, Sudeep and Hanjun Guo, worried about that. What ther are worried about is there are too many duplicate code between acpi-cpufreq.c and acpi-cpifre-arm.c So, I tried to separate this code into 3 parts which are common, x86-specific and arm-specific code. I tried to separate soc-specific code from acpi-cpufreq.c as much as possible. But as you know, there are too much x86-specific code in acpi-cpufreq.c When I tried to implement acpi-cpufreq-arm, there were a lot of compile error(due to x86-specific code). So I used #ifdef CONFIG_X86 to solve those errors.(and some hack codes) In this patch, I mostly focused on cpufreq. Later I will remove #ifdef CONFIG_X86. I would like your reviews and comments. [PATCH linaro-acpi] [RFC] ACPU / cpuidle: Add ACPI cpuidle support for ARM

Hi all, I would like to support acpi cpuidle for ARM. For that I applied Lorenzo Pieralisi's patches on leg-kernel repository. [PATCH RFC v2 0/4] ARM generic idle states] [PATCH RFC v2 1/4] drivers: cpuidle: implement OF based idle states infrastructure [PATCH RFC v2 2/4] arm64: add PSCI CPU_SUSPEND based cpu_suspend support [PATCH RFC v2 3/4] drivers: cpuidle: CPU idle ARM64 driver [PATCH RFC v2 4/4] arm64: boot: dts: update rtsm aemv8 dts with PSCI and idle states Lorenzo Pieralisi's patches used PSCI method to enter the low power mode. [PATCH V3] ACPI: Update the ownership and developers for ACPI in Kconfig

The UEFI Forum included the ACPI spec in its portfolio in October 2013 and will host future spec iterations, following the ACPI v5.0a release. A UEFI Forum working group named ACPI Specification Working Group (ASWG) has been established to handle future ACPI developments, any UEFI member can join the group and contribute to ACPI specification. So update the ownership and developers for ACPI in Kconfig accordingly, and add another website link to ACPI specification too.
