Hello! I have tried cross compiling linaro kernel for pandaboard using instructions from wiki(using latest kernel source and crossbuild tools), but i'm always getting same error:

make ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE=arm-linux-gnueabihf- KBUILD_DEBARCH=armhf deb-pkg ... ....... 1 hour later:

dpkg-deb: building package `linux-firmware-image:armel' in `../linux-firmware-image_3.4.0-2_armel.deb'. dpkg-gencontrol: error: current host architecture 'armhf' does not appear in package's architecture list (armel) make[1]: *** [deb-pkg] Error 255

So i guess thats because all instructions on wiki are very old and can not be used. I have tried to find instuctions on the internet without any success....all the instuction is very old, its even impossible to find where to get lastest linaro kernel source for pandaboard using git! (only way to get it is to download package from dl section on linaro website) Can someone help me please ? What i need: build deb package of last version of linaro kernel for pandaboad es What for ? : adding support of LCD module + webcam. System i'm using: Ubuntu 12.04 64bit. Devboard: PandaBoard ES
