Function 'usb_get_bos_descriptor()' encounters an iteration issue when skipping the 'USB_DT_DEVICE_CAPABILITY' descriptor type. This results in the same descriptor being read repeatedly. To address this issue, a 'goto' statement is introduced to ensure that the pointer and the amount read is updated correctly. This ensures that the function iterates to the next descriptor instead of reading the same descriptor repeatedly. [PATCH] arm64: dts: qcom: sc8280xp-crd: fix eDP phy compatible

The sc8280xp Display Port PHYs can be used in either DP or eDP mode and this is configured using the devicetree compatible string which defaults to DP mode in the SoC dtsi. Override the default compatible string for the CRD eDP PHY node so that the eDP settings are used. [PATCH net v2] r8169: fix rtl8125b PAUSE frames blasting when suspended

When FIFO reaches near full state, device will issue pause frame. If pause slot is enabled(set to 1), in this time, device will issue pause frame only once. But if pause slot is disabled(set to 0), device will keep sending pause frames until FIFO reaches near empty state. When pause slot is disabled, if there is no one to handle receive packets, device FIFO will reach near full state and keep sending pause frames. That will impact entire local area network. This issue can be reproduced in Chromebox (not Chromebook) in developer mode running a test image (and v5.10 kernel): 1) ping -f $CHROMEBOX (from workstation on same local network) 2) run "powerd_dbus_suspend" from command line on the $CHROMEBOX 3) ping $ROUTER (wait until ping fails from workstation) Takes about ~20-30 seconds after step 2 for the local network to stop working. Fix this issue by enabling pause slot to only send pause frame once when FIFO reaches near full state. [PATCH v2 2/2] PCI: of: Attach created of_node to existing device

The commit 407d1a51921e ("PCI: Create device tree node for bridge") creates of_node for PCI devices. During the insertion handling of these new DT nodes done by of_platform, new devices (struct device) are created. For each PCI devices a struct device is already present (created and handled by the PCI core). Having a second struct device to represent the exact same PCI device is not correct. On the of_node creation, tell the of_platform that there is no need to create a device for this node (OF_POPULATED flag), link this newly created of_node to the already present device and tell fwnode that the device attached to this of_node is ready (fwnode_dev_initialized()). [PATCH v3] usb: typec: class: fix typec_altmode_put_partner to put plugs

When typec_altmode_put_partner is called by a plug altmode upon release, the port altmode the plug belongs to will not remove its reference to the plug. The check to see if the altmode being released evaluates against the released altmode's partner instead of the calling altmode itself, so change adev in typec_altmode_put_partner to properly refer to the altmode being released. typec_altmode_set_partner is not run for port altmodes, so also add a check in typec_altmode_release to prevent typec_altmode_put_partner() calls on port altmode release. [PATCH v2 01/10] wifi: rtlwifi: Remove bogus and dangerous ASPM disable/enable code

Ever since introduction in the commit 0c8173385e54 ("rtl8192ce: Add new driver") the rtlwifi code has, according to comments, attempted to disable/enable ASPM of the upstream bridge by writing into its LNKCTL register. However, the code has never been correct because it performs the writes to the device instead of the upstream bridge. Worse yet, the offset where the PCIe capabilities reside is derived from the offset of the upstream bridge. As a result, the write will use an offset on the device that does not relate to the LNKCTL register making the ASPM disable/enable code outright dangerous. Because of those problems, there is no indication that the driver needs disable/enable ASPM on the upstream bridge. As the Capabilities offset is not correctly calculated for the write to target device's LNKCTL register, the code is not disabling/enabling device's ASPM either. Therefore, just remove the upstream bridge related ASPM disable/enable code entirely. The upstream bridge related ASPM code was the only user of the struct mp_adapter members num4bytes, pcibridge_pciehdr_offset, and pcibridge_linkctrlreg so those are removed as well. Note: This change does not remove the code related to changing the device's ASPM on purpose (which is independent of this flawed code related to upstream bridge's ASPM).
