[PATCH 2/7] drm/dp_mst: Verify request type in the corresponding down message reply

After receiving the response for an MST down request message, the response should be accepted/parsed only if the response type matches that of the request. Ensure this by checking if the request type code stored both in the request and the reply match, dropping the reply in case of a mismatch. This fixes the topology detection for an MST hub, as described in the Closes link below, where the hub sends an incorrect reply message after a CLEAR_PAYLOAD_TABLE -> LINK_ADDRESS down request message sequence. [PATCH 1/7] drm/dp_mst: Fix resetting msg rx state after topology removal

If the MST topology is removed during the reception of an MST down reply or MST up request sideband message, the drm_dp_mst_topology_mgr::up_req_recv/down_rep_recv states could be reset from one thread via drm_dp_mst_topology_mgr_set_mst(false), racing with the reading/parsing of the message from another thread via drm_dp_mst_handle_down_rep() or drm_dp_mst_handle_up_req(). The race is possible since the reader/parser doesn't hold any lock while accessing the reception state. This in turn can lead to a memory corruption in the reader/parser as described by commit bd2fccac61b4 ("drm/dp_mst: Fix MST sideband message body length check"). Fix the above by resetting the message reception state if needed before reading/parsing a message. Another solution would be to hold the drm_dp_mst_topology_mgr::lock for the whole duration of the message reception/parsing in drm_dp_mst_handle_down_rep() and drm_dp_mst_handle_up_req(), however this would require a bigger change. Since the fix is also needed for stable, opting for the simpler solution in this patch. Some cameras do not return all the bytes requested from a control if it can fit in less bytes. Eg: returning 0xab instead of 0x00ab. Support these devices. [PATCH v2] io_uring: Change res2 parameter type in io_uring_cmd_done

Change the type of the res2 parameter in io_uring_cmd_done from ssize_t to u64. This aligns the parameter type with io_req_set_cqe32_extra, which expects u64 arguments. The change eliminates potential issues on 32-bit architectures where ssize_t might be 32-bit. Only user of passing res2 is drivers/nvme/host/ioctl.c and it actually passes u64. [PATCH v2 0/8] USB31DRD phy updates for Google Tensor gs101 (orientation & DWC3 rpm)

Hi, This series enables USB3 Type-C lane orientation detection and configuration on platforms that support this (Google gs101), and it also allows the DWC3 core to enter runtime suspend even when UDC is active. For lane orientation, this driver now optionally (based on DT) subscribes to the TCPC's lane orientation notifier and remembers the orientation to later be used during phy_init(). To enable DWC3 runtime suspend, the gadget needs to inform the core via dwc3_gadget_interrupt() with event type == DWC3_DEVICE_EVENT_DISCONNECT of a cable disconnect. For that to allow to happen, this driver therefore needs to stop forcing the Vbus and bvalid signals to active and instead change their state based on actual conditions. The same TCPC notifier is used to detect this, and program the hardware accordingly. That signal state is based on advice given by Thinh in https://lore.kernel.org/all/20240813230625.jgkatqstyhcmpezv@synopsys.com/ Both changes together now allow cable orientation detection to work, as the DWC3 will now call phy_exit() on cable disconnect, and we can reprogram the lane mux in phy_init().
