The issue is that any preemption that occurs between vgic_v4_put() and schedule() on the block path will mark the vPE as nonresident and *not* request a doorbell irq. This occurs because when the vcpu thread is resumed on its way to block, vcpu_load() will make the vPE resident again. Once the vcpu actually blocks, we don't request a doorbell anymore, and the vcpu won't be woken up on interrupt delivery. Fix it by tracking that we're entering WFI, and key the doorbell request on that flag. This allows us not to make the vPE resident when going through a preempt/schedule cycle, meaning we don't lose any state. The "typo" was introduced by recent fix for SVM's funky Paged Real Mode. Opportunistically hoist the logic above the tracepoint so that the trace is coherent with respect to what is actually injected (this was also the behavior prior to the buggy commit). [PATCH] apparmor: use kvfree_sensitive to free data->data

[PATCH v2] drivers/i915/intel_bios: Fix parsing backlight BDB data

Starting BDB version 239, hdr_dpcd_refresh_timeout is introduced to backlight BDB data. Commit 700034566d68 ("drm/i915/bios: Define more BDB contents") updated the backlight BDB data accordingly. This broke the parsing of backlight BDB data in VBT for versions 236 - 238 (both inclusive) and hence the backlight controls are not responding on units with the concerned BDB version. backlight_control information has been present in backlight BDB data from at least BDB version 191 onwards, if not before. Hence this patch extracts the backlight_control information for BDB version 191 or newer. Tested on Chromebooks using Jasperlake SoC (reports bdb->version = 236). [PATCH v3] Input: xen-kbdfront - drop keys to shrink modalias

xen kbdfront registers itself as being able to deliver *any* key since it doesn't know what keys the backend may produce. Unfortunately, the generated modalias gets too large and uevent creation fails with -ENOMEM. This can lead to gdm not using the keyboard since there is no seat associated [1] and the debian installer crashing [2]. Trim the ranges of key capabilities by removing some BTN_* ranges. While doing this, some neighboring undefined ranges are removed to trim it further. An upper limit of KEY_KBD_LCD_MENU5 is still too large. Use an upper limit of KEY_BRIGHTNESS_MENU.
