[PATCH v2] serial: sc16is7xx: fix bug in sc16is7xx_set_baud() when using prescaler

From: Hugo Villeneuve <hvilleneuve(a)dimonoff.com> When using a high speed clock with a low baud rate, the 4x prescaler is automatically selected if required. In that case, sc16is7xx_set_baud() properly configures the chip registers, but returns an incorrect baud rate by not taking into account the prescaler value. This incorrect baud rate is then fed to uart_update_timeout(). For example, with an input clock of 80MHz, and a selected baud rate of 50, sc16is7xx_set_baud() will return 200 instead of 50. Fix this by first changing the prescaler variable to hold the selected prescaler value instead of the MCR bitfield. Then properly take into account the selected prescaler value in the return value computation. Also add better documentation about the divisor value computation. [PATCH v3] usb: dwc3: Wait unconditionally after issuing EndXfer command

Currently all controller IP/revisions except DWC3_usb3 >= 310a wait 1ms unconditionally for ENDXFER completion when IOC is not set. This is because DWC_usb3 controller revisions >= 3.10a supports GUCTL2[14: Rst_actbitlater] bit which allows polling CMDACT bit to know whether ENDXFER command is completed. Consider a case where an IN request was queued, and parallelly soft_disconnect was called (due to ffs_epfile_release). This eventually calls stop_active_transfer with IOC cleared, hence send_gadget_ep_cmd() skips waiting for CMDACT cleared during EndXfer. For DWC3 controllers with revisions >= 310a, we don't forcefully wait for 1ms either, and we proceed by unmapping the requests. If ENDXFER didn't complete by this time, it leads to SMMU faults since the controller would still be accessing those requests. Fix this by ensuring ENDXFER completion by adding 1ms delay in __dwc3_stop_active_transfer() unconditionally. [PATCH 5/5] eventfs: Have "events" directory get permissions from its parent

[PATCH 4/5] eventfs: Do not treat events directory different than other directories

The events directory was considered different because it's dentry is persistent, whereas the other directory dentries are created when accessed. But the way tracefs now does its ownership by using the root dentry's permissions as the default permissions, the events directory can get out of sync when a remount is performed setting the group and user permissions. Remove the special case for the events directory on setting the attributes. This allows the updates caused by remount to work properly as well as simplifies the code. [PATCH 1/5] tracefs: Reset permissions on remount if permissions are options

Because the permissions are generated when accessed, they default to the root inode's permission if they were never set by the user. If the user sets the permissions, then a flag is set and the permissions are saved via the inode (for tracefs files) or an internal attribute field (for eventfs). But if a remount happens that specify the permissions, all the files that were not changed by the user gets updated, but the ones that were are not. If the user were to remount the file system with a given permission, then all files and directories within that file system should be updated. This can cause security issues if a file's permission was updated but the admin forgot about it. They could incorrectly think that remounting with permissions set would update all files, but miss some.
