[PATCH] usb: dwc3: Wait for EndXfer completion before restoring GUSB2PHYCFG

DWC3 programming guide mentions that when operating in USB2.0 speeds, if GUSB2PHYCFG[6] or GUSB2PHYCFG[8] is set, it must be cleared prior to issuing commands and may be set again after the command completes. But currently while issuing EndXfer command without CmdIOC set, we wait for 1ms after GUSB2PHYCFG is restored. This results in cases where EndXfer command doesn't get completed and causes SMMU faults since requests are unmapped afterwards. Hence restore GUSB2PHYCFG after waiting for EndXfer command completion. [PATCH] iwlegacy: Clear stale interrupts before enabling interrupts

The reason seems to be a stale interrupt which isn't being cleared out before interrupts are enabled. We end up with a race beween the resume trying to bring things back up, and the restart work (queued form the interrupt handler) trying to bring things down. Eventually the whole thing blows up. Fix the problem by clearing out any stale interrupts before interrupts get enabled. Dell WD19TB Thunderbolt Dock not working with kernel > 6.6.28-1

Hi, I got a Dell WD19TBS Thunderbolt Dock, and it has been working with Linux for years without issues. However, updating to linux-lts-6.6.29-1 or newer breaks the USB ports on my Dock. Using the latest non-LTS kernel doesn't help, it also breaks the USB ports. Downgrading the kernel to linux-lts-6.6.28-1 works. This is the last working version. I opened a thread on the Arch Linux forum https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=299604 with some dmesg output. However, it sounds like this is a regression in the Linux kernel, so I'm posting this here as well. Let me know if you need any more info. Thanks a lot Fabian

[PATCH] HID: plantronics: Workaround for an unexcepted opposite volume key

Some Plantronics headset as the below send an unexcept opposite volume key's HID report for each volume key press after 200ms, like unecepted Volume Up Key following Volume Down key pressed by user. This patch adds a quirk to hid-plantronics for these devices, which will ignore the second unexcepted opposite volume key if it happens within 220ms from the last one that was handled. Plantronics EncorePro 500 Series (047f:431e) Plantronics Blackwire_3325 Series (047f:430c) The patch was tested on the mentioned model, it shouldn't affect other models, however, this quirk might be needed for them too. Auto-repeat (when a key is held pressed) is not affected per test result. [PATCH v5 1/5] tpm: Return on tpm2_create_null_primary() failure

[PATCH v3 1/1] dmaengine: dw: Select only supported masters for ACPI devices

Even though the controller supported only a single master the dw_dma_acpi_filter() method hard-coded two master interfaces with IDs 0 and 1. As a result the sanity check implemented in the commit b336268dde75 ("dmaengine: dw: Add peripheral bus width verification") got incorrect interface data width and thus prevented the client drivers from configuring the DMA-channel with the EINVAL error returned. But since it supports just a single master and the iDMA 32-bit specific code just ignores the master IDs in the CTLLO preparation method, the issue has been gone unnoticed so far. Fix the problem by specifying the default master ID for both memory and peripheral devices in the driver data. Thus the issue noticed for the iDMA 32-bit controllers will be eliminated and the ACPI-probed DW DMA controllers will be configured with the correct master ID by default. [PATCH 0/3] crypto: Fix data mismatch over ipsec tunnel encrypted/decrypted with ppc64le AES/GCM module.

Fix data mismatch over ipsec tunnel encrypted/decrypted with ppc64le AES/GCM module. This patch is to fix an issue when simd is not usable that data mismatch may occur. The fix is to register algs as SIMD modules so that the algorithm is excecuted when SIMD instructions is usable. A new module rfc4106(gcm(aes)) is also added. Re-write AES/GCM assembly codes with smaller footprints and small performance gain. This patch has been tested with the kernel crypto module tcrypt.ko and has passed the selftest. The patch is also tested with CONFIG_CRYPTO_MANAGER_EXTRA_TESTS enabled. [RESEND PATCH] sched/syscalls: Allow setting niceness using sched_param struct

From userspace, spawning a new process with, for example, posix_spawn(), only allows the user to work with the scheduling priority value defined by POSIX in the sched_param struct. However, sched_setparam() and similar syscalls lead to __sched_setscheduler() which rejects any new value for the priority other than 0 for non-RT schedule classes, a behavior kept since Linux 2.6 or earlier. Linux translates the usage of the sched_param struct into it's own internal sched_attr struct during the syscall, but the user has no way to manage the other values within the sched_attr struct using only POSIX functions. The only other way to adjust niceness while using posix_spawn() would be to set the value after the process has started, but this introduces the risk of the process being dead before the next syscall can set the priority after the fact. To resolve this, allow the use of the priority value originally from the POSIX sched_param struct in order to set the niceness value instead of rejecting the priority value. Edit the sched_get_priority_*() POSIX syscalls in order to reflect the range of values accepted.
