(Note that it's still important to fix crypto self-test failures even for weird algorithm instantiations like cryptd(crc32c) that no one would really use; in fips_enabled mode unprivileged users can use them to panic the kernel, and also they prevent treating a crypto self-test failure as a bug when fuzzing the kernel.) The bug is that the final keystream block isn't returned from the assembly code when the number of non-final blocks is zero. This can happen if the input data ends a few bytes after a page boundary. In this case the last bytes get "encrypted" by XOR'ing them with uninitialized memory. Fix the assembly code to return the final keystream block when needed. Hi Greg! It seems that somehow two patches apparently dropped through the cracks; could you please pick them? If you merely stashed them for later then sorry for noise.
