[PATCH v5 1/4] scsi: fnic: Fix crash in fnic_wq_cmpl_handler when FDMI times out

When both the RHBA and RPA FDMI requests time out, fnic reuses a frame to send ABTS for each of them. On send completion, this causes an attempt to free the same frame twice that leads to a crash. Fix crash by allocating separate frames for RHBA and RPA, and modify ABTS logic accordingly. Tested by checking MDS for FDMI information. Hi Greg, v6.6.y and v6.12.y fail to build corenet64_smp_defconfig. powerpc64-linux-ld: arch/powerpc/kernel/irq_64.o: in function `__replay_soft_interrupts': /opt/buildbot/slave/qemu-ppc64/build/arch/powerpc/kernel/irq_64.c:119:(.text+0x50): undefined reference to `ppc_save_regs' This is caused by the backport of upstream commit 497b7794aef0 ("powerpc: do not build ppc_save_regs.o always"). That commit made some wrong assumptions and causes the build failure. Please apply commit 93bd4a80efeb ("powerpc/kernel: Fix ppc_save_regs inclusion in build") to both branches to fix the problem. [PATCH 1/1] drm/i915/dp: Refine TPS4-based HBR3 rejection and add quirk to limit eDP to HBR2

Refine the logic introduced in commit 584cf613c24a ("drm/i915/dp: Reject HBR3 when sink doesn't support TPS4") to allow HBR3 on eDP panels that report DPCD revision 1.4, even if TPS4 is not supported. This aligns with the DisplayPort specification, which does not mandate TPS4 support for eDP with DPCD rev 1.4. This change avoids regressions on panels that require HBR3 to operate at their native resolution but do not advertise TPS4 support. Additionally, some ICL/TGL platforms with combo PHY ports suffer from signal integrity issues at HBR3. While certain systems include a Parade PS8461 mux to mitigate this, its presence cannot be reliably detected. Furthermore, broken or missing VBT entries make it unsafe to rely on VBT for enforcing link rate limits. To address the HBR3-related issues on such platforms and eDP panels, introduce a device specific quirk to cap the eDP link rate to HBR2 (540000 kHz). This will override any higher advertised rates from the sink or DPCD for specific devices. Currently, the quirk is added for Dell XPS 13 7390 2-in-1 which is reported in gitlab issue #5969 [1]. [PATCH v3] drm/framebuffer: Acquire internal references on GEM handles

Acquire GEM handles in drm_framebuffer_init() and release them in the corresponding drm_framebuffer_cleanup(). Ties the handle's lifetime to the framebuffer. Not all GEM buffer objects have GEM handles. If not set, no refcounting takes place. This is the case for some fbdev emulation. This is not a problem as these GEM objects do not use dma-bufs and drivers will not release them while fbdev emulation is running. Framebuffer flags keep a bit per color plane of which the framebuffer holds a GEM handle reference. As all drivers use drm_framebuffer_init(), they will now all hold dma-buf references as fixed in commit 5307dce878d4 ("drm/gem: Acquire references on GEM handles for framebuffers"). In the GEM framebuffer helpers, restore the original ref counting on buffer objects. [PATCH] comedi: comedi_test: Fix possible deletion of uninitialized timers

In `waveform_common_attach()`, the two timers `&devpriv->ai_timer` and `&devpriv->ao_timer` are initialized after the allocation of the device private data by `comedi_alloc_devpriv()` and the subdevices by `comedi_alloc_subdevices()`. The function may return with an error between those function calls. In that case, `waveform_detach()` will be called by the Comedi core to clean up. The check that `waveform_detach()` uses to decide whether to delete the timers is incorrect. It only checks that the device private data was allocated, but that does not guarantee that the timers were initialized. It also needs to check that the subdevices were allocated. Fix it. [PATCH v3] wifi: wilc1000: Add error handling for wilc_sdio_cmd52()

The wilc_sdio_read_size() calls wilc_sdio_cmd52() but does not check the return value. This could lead to execution with potentially invalid data if wilc_sdio_cmd52() fails. A proper implementation can be found in wilc_sdio_read_reg(). Add error handling for wilc_sdio_cmd52(). If wilc_sdio_cmd52() fails, log an error message via dev_err().
