This BO will be cleared once again after executing amdgpu_bo_release_notify(). With the new implementation, there's a chance that changing the resource flag the second time would cause the WARN_ON to occur. Hence I removed the resource cleared function call in amdgpu_move_blit. Thanks, Arun. Something fishy is going on that we don't fully understand. What happens here is that we move from VRAM to GTT, clear the VRAM BO after the move and set the flag. When the BO is destroyed the it is backed by GTT and not VRAM any more, so no clear operation and no flag setting is performed. It looks more like we forget to clear the flag in some cases. Hi, The commit has been in v6.1.y for 3+ years (but not in the 5.x stable branches): 23e118a48acf ("PCI: hv: Do not set PCI_COMMAND_MEMORY to reduce VM boot time") The commit can be cherry-picked cleanly to the latest 5.x stable branches, i.e. 5.15.185, 5.10.238 and 5.4.294. Some Linux distro kernels are still based on the 5.x stable branches, and they have been carrying the commit explicitly. It would be great to have the commit in the upstream 5.x branches, so they don't have to carry the commit explicitly. There is a Debian 10.3 user who wants the commit, but the commit is absent from Debian 10.3's kernel, whose full version string is: Linux version 5.10.0-0.deb10.30-amd64 (debian-kernel(a)lists.debian.org) (gcc-8 (Debian 8.3.0-6) 8.3.0, GNU ld (GNU Binutils for Debian) 2.31.1) #1 SMP Debian 5.10.218-1~deb10u1 (2024-06-12) If the commit is cherry-picked into the upstream 5.10.y, the next Debian 10.3 kernel update would have the commit automatically. [PATCH v3 1/2] platform/x86: int3472: add hpd pin support

Typically HDMI to MIPI CSI-2 bridges have a pin to signal image data is being received. On the host side this is wired to a GPIO for polling or interrupts. This includes the Lontium HDMI to MIPI CSI-2 bridges lt6911uxe and lt6911uxc. The GPIO "hpd" is used already by other HDMI to CSI-2 bridges, use it here as well. [REGRESSION][BISECTED] Performance Regression in IOMMU/VT-d Since Kernel 6.10

#regzbot introduced: 129dab6e1286 Hello everyone, We've identified a performance regression that starts with linux kernel 6.10 and persists through 6.16(tested at commit e540341508ce). Bisection pointed to commit: 129dab6e1286 ("iommu/vt-d: Use cache_tag_flush_range_np() in iotlb_sync_map"). The issue occurs when running fio against two NVMe devices located under the same PCIe bridge (dual-port NVMe configuration). Performance drops compared to configurations where the devices are on different bridges. Observed Performance: - Before the commit: ~6150 MiB/s, regardless of NVMe device placement. - After the commit: -- Same PCIe bridge: ~4985 MiB/s -- Different PCIe bridges: ~6150 MiB/s Currently we can only reproduce the issue on a Z3 metal instance on gcp. I suspect the issue can be reproducible if you have a dual port nvme on any machine. At [1] there's a more detailed description of the issue and details on the reproducer. [PATCH net v2] net: libwx: fix the incorrect display of the queue number

When setting "ethtool -L eth0 combined 1", the number of RX/TX queue is changed to be 1. RSS is disabled at this moment, and the indices of FDIR have not be changed in wx_set_rss_queues(). So the combined count still shows the previous value. This issue was introduced when supporting FDIR. Fix it for those devices that support FDIR. [PATCH] riscv: cpu_ops_sbi: Use static array for boot_data

Since commit 6b9f29b81b15 ("riscv: Enable pcpu page first chunk allocator"), if NUMA is enabled, the page percpu allocator may be used on very sparse configurations, or when requested on boot with percpu_alloc=page. In that case, percpu data gets put in the vmalloc area. However, sbi_hsm_hart_start() needs the physical address of a sbi_hart_boot_data, and simply assumes that __pa() would work. This causes the just started hart to immediately access an invalid address and hang. Fortunately, struct sbi_hart_boot_data is not too large, so we can simply allocate an array for boot_data statically, putting it in the kernel image. This fixes NUMA=y SMP boot on Sophgo SG2042. [PATCH] media: iris: Call correct power off callback in cleanup path

Driver implements different callbacks for the power off controller (.power_off_controller): - iris_vpu_power_off_controller, - iris_vpu33_power_off_controller, The generic wrapper for handling power off - iris_vpu_power_off() - calls them via 'iris_platform_data->vpu_ops', so shall the cleanup code in iris_vpu_power_on(). This makes also sense if looking at caller of iris_vpu_power_on(), which unwinds also with the wrapper calling respective platfortm code (unwinds with iris_vpu_power_off()). Otherwise power off sequence on the newer VPU3.3 in error path is not complete. This is done because those completions are always invoked from task context. And while that is true, there's no guarantee that it's invoked under the right ring context, or even task. If someone does NVMe passthrough via multiple threads and with a limited number of poll queues, then ringA may find completions from ringB. For that case, completing the request may not be sound. Always just punt the passthrough completions via task_work, which will redirect the completion, if needed. This is done because those completions are always invoked from task context. And while that is true, there's no guarantee that it's invoked under the right ring context, or even task. If someone does NVMe passthrough via multiple threads and with a limited number of poll queues, then ringA may find completions from ringB. For that case, completing the request may not be sound. Always just punt the passthrough completions via task_work, which will redirect the completion, if needed. [PATCH 5.10] scsi: lpfc: Move NPIV's transport unregistration to after resource clean up

There are cases after NPIV deletion where the fabric switch still believes the NPIV is logged into the fabric. This occurs when a vport is unregistered before the Remove All DA_ID CT and LOGO ELS are sent to the fabric. Currently fc_remove_host(), which calls dev_loss_tmo for all D_IDs including the fabric D_ID, removes the last ndlp reference and frees the ndlp rport object. This sometimes causes the race condition where the final DA_ID and LOGO are skipped from being sent to the fabric switch. Fix by moving the fc_remove_host() and scsi_remove_host() calls after DA_ID and LOGO are sent. That can create gaps in the received/read data. Add struct buf_sel_arg->partial_map, which can pass this information back. The networking side can then map that to internal state and use it to gate retry as well. Since this necessitates a new flag, change io_sr_msg->retry to a retry_flags member, and store both the retry and partial map condition in there. [PATCH 1/1] md/md-bitmap: fix GPF in bitmap_get_stats()

The commit message of commit 6ec1f0239485 ("md/md-bitmap: fix stats collection for external bitmaps") states: Remove the external bitmap check as the statistics should be available regardless of bitmap storage location. Return -EINVAL only for invalid bitmap with no storage (neither in superblock nor in external file). But, the code does not adhere to the above, as it does only check for a valid super-block for "internal" bitmaps.
