[PATCH] btrfs: make sure no dirty metadata write is submitted after btrfs_stop_all_workers()

[BUG] During development of a minor feature (make sure all btrfs_bio::end_io() is called in task context), I noticed a crash in generic/388, where metadata writes triggered new works after btrfs_stop_all_workers(). It turns out that it can even happen without any code modification, just using RAID5 for metadata and the same workload from generic/388 is going to trigger the use-after-free. [CAUSE] If btrfs hits an error, the fs is marked as error, no new transaction is allowed thus metadata is in a frozen state. But there are some metadata modification before that error, and they are still in the btree inode page cache. Since there will be no real transaction commitment, all those dirty folios are just kept as is in the page cache, and they can not be invalidated by invalidate_inode_pages2() call inside close_ctree(), because they are dirty. And finally after btrfs_stop_all_workers(), we call iput() on btree inode, which triggers writeback of those dirty metadata. And if the fs is using RAID56 metadata, this will trigger RMW and queue new works into rmw_workers, which is already stopped, causing warning from queue_work() and use-after-free. [FIX] Add a special handling for write_one_eb(), that if the fs is already in an error state immediately mark the bbio as failure, instead of really submitting them into the device. This means for test case like generic/388, at iput() those dirty folios will just be discarded without triggering IO. [PATCH v2] btrfs: ensure no dirty metadata is written back for an fs with errors

[BUG] During development of a minor feature (make sure all btrfs_bio::end_io() is called in task context), I noticed a crash in generic/388, where metadata writes triggered new works after btrfs_stop_all_workers(). It turns out that it can even happen without any code modification, just using RAID5 for metadata and the same workload from generic/388 is going to trigger the use-after-free. [CAUSE] If btrfs hits an error, the fs is marked as error, no new transaction is allowed thus metadata is in a frozen state. But there are some metadata modifications before that error, and they are still in the btree inode page cache. Since there will be no real transaction commit, all those dirty folios are just kept as is in the page cache, and they can not be invalidated by invalidate_inode_pages2() call inside close_ctree(), because they are dirty. And finally after btrfs_stop_all_workers(), we call iput() on btree inode, which triggers writeback of those dirty metadata. And if the fs is using RAID56 metadata, this will trigger RMW and queue new works into rmw_workers, which is already stopped, causing warning from queue_work() and use-after-free. [FIX] Add a special handling for write_one_eb(), that if the fs is already in an error state, immediately mark the bbio as failure, instead of really submitting them. Then during close_ctree(), iput() will just discard all those dirty tree blocks without really writing them back, thus no more new jobs for already stopped-and-freed workqueues. The extra discard in write_one_eb() also acts as an extra safenet. E.g. the transaction abort is triggered by some extent/free space tree corruptions, and since extent/free space tree is already corrupted some tree blocks may be allocated where they shouldn't be (overwriting existing tree blocks). In that case writing them back will further corrupting the fs. [PATCH 1/2] LoongArch: KVM: Restore guest PMU if it is enabled

On LoongArch system, guest PMU hardware is shared by guest and host and PMU interrupt is separated. PMU is pass-through to VM, and there is PMU context switch when exit to host and return to guest. There is optimiation to check whether PMU is enabled by guest. If not, it is not necessary to return to guest. However it is enabled, PMU context for guest need switch on. Now KVM_REQ_PMU notification is set on vcpu context switch, however it is missing if there is no vcpu context switch and PMU is used by guest VM. [PATCH v2] drm/ast: Blank with VGACR17 sync enable, always clear VGACRB6 sync off

Blank the display by disabling sync pulses with VGACR17<7>. Unblank by reenabling them. This VGA setting should be supported by all Aspeed hardware. Ast currently blanks via sync-off bits in VGACRB6. Not all BMCs handle VGACRB6 correctly. After disabling sync during a reboot, some BMCs do not reenable it after the soft reset. The display output remains dark. When the display is off during boot, some BMCs set the sync-off bits in VGACRB6, so the display remains dark. Observed with Blackbird AST2500 BMCs. Clearing the sync-off bits unconditionally fixes these issues. [PATCH] agp/alpha: fix out-of-bounds write with negative pg_start

The code contains an out-of-bounds write vulnerability due to insufficient bounds validation. Negative pg_start values and integer overflow in pg_start+pg_count can bypass the existing bounds check. For example, pg_start=-1 with page_count=1 produces a sum of 0, passing the check `(pg_start + page_count) > num_entries`, but later writes to ptes[-1]. Similarly, pg_start=LONG_MAX-5 with pg_count=10 overflows, bypassing the check. Fix by explicitly rejecting negative pg_start and detecting overflow in alpha_core_agp_insert_memory, alpha_core_agp_remove_memory, iommu_release, iommu_bind, and iommu_unbind. [PATCH v7 3/3] PCI: dwc: Don't return error when wait for link up in dw_pcie_resume_noirq()

When waiting for the PCIe link to come up, both link up and link down are valid results depending on the device state. Since the link may come up later and to get rid of the following mis-reported PM errors. Do not return an -ETIMEDOUT error, as the outcome has already been reported in dw_pcie_wait_for_link(). [PATCH v7 1/3] PCI: dwc: Don't poll L2 if QUIRK_NOL2POLL_IN_PM is existing in suspend

Refer to PCIe r6.0, sec 5.2, fig 5-1 Link Power Management State Flow Diagram. Both L0 and L2/L3 Ready can be transferred to LDn directly. It's harmless to let dw_pcie_suspend_noirq() proceed suspend after the PME_Turn_Off is sent out, whatever the LTSSM state is in L2 or L3 after a recommended 10ms max wait refer to PCIe r6.0, sec 5.3.3.2.1 PME Synchronization. The LTSSM states are inaccessible on i.MX6QP and i.MX7D after the PME_Turn_Off is sent out. To support this case, don't poll L2 state and apply a simple delay of PCIE_PME_TO_L2_TIMEOUT_US(10ms) if the QUIRK_NOL2POLL_IN_PM flag is set in suspend.
