[PATCH] x86/kexec: Add a sanity check on previous kernel's ima kexec buffer

When the second-stage kernel is booted via kexec with a limiting command line such as "mem=<size>", the physical range that contains the carried over IMA measurement list may fall outside the truncated RAM leading to a kernel panic. Folios are not zeroed, leading to kernel memory disclosure to userspace 2. Folios are not marked uptodate before adding to page cache 3. hugetlb_fault_mutex is not taken before hugetlb_add_to_page_cache() The memfd allocation path bypasses the normal page fault handler (hugetlb_no_page) which would handle all of these initialization steps. This is problematic especially for udmabuf use cases where folios are pinned and directly accessed by userspace via DMA. Fix by matching the initialization pattern used in hugetlb_no_page(): - Zero the folio using folio_zero_user() which is optimized for huge pages - Mark it uptodate with folio_mark_uptodate() - Take hugetlb_fault_mutex before adding to page cache to prevent races The folio_zero_user() change also fixes a potential security issue where uninitialized kernel memory could be disclosed to userspace through read() or mmap() operations on the memfd. [PATCH v2] coresight: etm-perf: Fix reference count leak in etm_setup_aux

In etm_setup_aux(), when a user sink is obtained via coresight_get_sink_by_id(), it increments the reference count of the sink device. However, if the sink is used in path building, the path holds a reference, but the initial reference from coresight_get_sink_by_id() is not released, causing a reference count leak. We should release the initial reference after the path is built. Found by code review. [PATCH net v1] ipv4: route: Prevent rt_bind_exception() from rebinding stale fnhe

The sit driver's packet transmission path calls: sit_tunnel_xmit() -> update_or_create_fnhe(), which lead to fnhe_remove_oldest() being called to delete entries exceeding FNHE_RECLAIM_DEPTH+random. The race window is between fnhe_remove_oldest() selecting fnheX for deletion and the subsequent kfree_rcu(). During this time, the concurrent path's __mkroute_output() -> find_exception() can fetch the soon-to-be-deleted fnheX, and rt_bind_exception() then binds it with a new dst using a dst_hold(). When the original fnheX is freed via RCU, the dst reference remains permanently leaked. Usage count = N Ido Schimmel provided the simple test validation method [1]. The fix clears 'oldest->fnhe_daddr' before calling fnhe_flush_routes(). Since rt_bind_exception() checks this field, setting it to zero prevents the stale fnhe from being reused and bound to a new dst just before it is freed. [PATCH v3 0/2] Enable 1GHz OPP am335x-bonegreen-eco

The vdd_mpu regulator maximum voltage was previously limited to 1.2985V, which prevented the CPU from reaching the 1GHz operating point. This limitation was put in place because voltage changes were not working correctly, causing the board to stall when attempting higher frequencies. Increase the maximum voltage to 1.3515V to allow the full 1GHz OPP to be used. Add a TPS65219 PMIC driver fixes that properly implement the LOCK register handling, to make voltage transitions work reliably. [PATCH] shmem: fix tmpfs reconfiguration (remount) when noswap is set

In systemd we're trying to switch the internal credentials setup logic to new mount API [1], and I noticed fsconfig(FSCONFIG_CMD_RECONFIGURE) consistently fails on tmpfs with noswap option. On top of that, noswap option doesn't use fsparam_flag_no, hence it's not really possible to "reenable" swap to begin with. Drop the check and redundant SHMEM_SEEN_NOSWAP flag. [PATCH v2] powerpc: Add reloc_offset() to font bitmap pointer used for bootx_printf()

Since Linux v6.7, booting using BootX on an Old World PowerMac produces an early crash. Stan Johnson writes, "the symptoms are that the screen goes blank and the backlight stays on, and the system freezes (Linux doesn't boot)." Further testing revealed that the failure can be avoided by disabling CONFIG_BOOTX_TEXT. Bisection revealed that the regression was caused by a change to the font bitmap pointer that's used when btext_init() begins painting characters on the display, early in the boot process. Christophe Leroy explains, "before kernel text is relocated to its final location ... data is addressed with an offset which is added to the Global Offset Table (GOT) entries at the start of bootx_init() by function reloc_got2(). But the pointers that are located inside a structure are not referenced in the GOT and are therefore not updated by reloc_got2(). It is therefore needed to apply the offset manually by using PTRRELOC() macro." [PATCH] slimbus: ngd: Fix reference count leak in qcom_slim_ngd_notify_slaves

The function qcom_slim_ngd_notify_slaves() calls of_slim_get_device() which internally uses device_find_child() to obtain a device reference. According to the device_find_child() documentation, the caller must drop the reference with put_device() after use.
