The problem is related to NFS service. Stopping NFS service hangs:

# /etc/init.d/nfs  stop  * Caching service dependencies ... [ ok ]  * Stopping NFS mountd ... [ ok ]  * Stopping NFS daemon ... [ ok ] [...]
