In the ipmi_create_user() function, the intf->nr_users variable has an underflow issue. Specifically, on the exception path (goto out_kfree;) before atomic_add_return(), calling atomic_dec() when intf->nr_users has not been incremented will result in an underflow.
The relevant code has been completely rewritten in the next tree and has been fixed with commit 9e91f8a6c868 ("ipmi:msghandler: Remove srcu for the ipmi_interfaces list"). However, the issue still exists in the 5.19+ stable branches and needs to be fixed on those branches.
