In short, ARM is recommending PSCI firmware for arm64 platforms and there has been no work done yet to port MCPM to arm64.

Not wanting to light another fire, but I can't help but think about what a closed source firmware would be like, given the current level of reviews required simply to produce proper MCPM backends and despite the already available open source ones as reference.
