[PATCH v2 2/8] vsock/virtio: Validate length in packet header before skb_put()

When receiving a vsock packet in the guest, only the virtqueue buffer size is validated prior to virtio_vsock_skb_rx_put(). Unfortunately, virtio_vsock_skb_rx_put() uses the length from the packet header as the length argument to skb_put(), potentially resulting in SKB overflow if the host has gone wonky. Validate the length as advertised by the packet header before calling virtio_vsock_skb_rx_put(). [PATCH v2 1/8] vhost/vsock: Avoid allocating arbitrarily-sized SKBs

vhost_vsock_alloc_skb() returns NULL for packets advertising a length larger than VIRTIO_VSOCK_MAX_PKT_BUF_SIZE in the packet header. However, this is only checked once the SKB has been allocated and, if the length in the packet header is zero, the SKB may not be freed immediately. Hoist the size check before the SKB allocation so that an iovec larger than VIRTIO_VSOCK_MAX_PKT_BUF_SIZE + the header size is rejected outright. The subsequent check on the length field in the header can then simply check that the allocated SKB is indeed large enough to hold the packet. [PATCH v2] usb: musb: fix gadget state on disconnect

When unplugging the USB cable or disconnecting a gadget in usb peripheral mode with echo "" > /sys/kernel/config/usb_gadget/<your_gadget>/UDC, /sys/class/udc/musb-hdrc.0/state does not change from USB_STATE_CONFIGURED. Testing on dwc2/3 shows they both update the state to USB_STATE_NOTATTACHED. Add calls to usb_gadget_set_state in musb_g_disconnect and musb_gadget_stop to fix both cases. [PATCH v3 1/1] mm/rmap: fix potential out-of-bounds page table access during batched unmap

From: Lance Yang <lance.yang(a)linux.dev> As pointed out by David[1], the batched unmap logic in try_to_unmap_one() may read past the end of a PTE table when a large folio's PTE mappings are not fully contained within a single page table. While this scenario might be rare, an issue triggerable from userspace must be fixed regardless of its likelihood. This patch fixes the out-of-bounds access by refactoring the logic into a new helper, folio_unmap_pte_batch(). The new helper correctly calculates the safe batch size by capping the scan at both the VMA and PMD boundaries. To simplify the code, it also supports partial batching (i.e., any number of pages from 1 up to the calculated safe maximum), as there is no strong reason to special-case for fully mapped folios. Fix forgotten in stable backports?

[PATCH v2] drm/xe/bmg: fix compressed VRAM handling

There looks to be an issue in our compression handling when the BO pages are very fragmented, where we choose to skip the identity map and instead fall back to emitting the PTEs by hand when migrating memory, such that we can hopefully do more work per blit operation. However in such a case we need to ensure the src PTEs are correctly tagged with a compression enabled PAT index on dgpu xe2+, otherwise the copy will simply treat the src memory as uncompressed, leading to corruption if the memory was compressed by the user.
