[PATCH net v2] net: usbnet: Avoid potential RCU stall on LINK_CHANGE event

The Gemalto Cinterion PLS83-W modem (cdc_ether) is emitting confusing link up and down events when the WWAN interface is activated on the modem-side. Interrupt URBs will in consecutive polls grab: * Link Connected * Link Disconnected * Link Connected Where the last Connected is then a stable link state. When the system is under load this may cause the unlink_urbs() work in __handle_link_change() to not complete before the next usbnet_link_change() call turns the carrier on again, allowing rx_submit() to queue new SKBs. I'm a little bit concerned that the bit stuff can now race (although much smaller) in the opposite direction, that a carrier off can occur between test_and_clear_bit() and the carrier on action in the handler. [PATCH v3] Mark xe driver as BROKEN if kernel page size is not 4kB

[PATCH v3] usb:xhci:Fix slot_id resource race conflict

In such a scenario, device-A with slot_id equal to 1 is disconnecting while device-B is enumerating, device-B will fail to enumerate in the follow sequence. 1.[device-A] send disable slot command 2.[device-B] send enable slot command 3.[device-A] disable slot command completed and wakeup waiting thread 4.[device-B] enable slot command completed with slot_id equal to 1 and wakeup waiting thread 5.[device-B] driver check this slot_id was used by someone(device-A) in xhci_alloc_virt_device, this device fails to enumerate as this conflict 6.[device-A] xhci->devs[slot_id] set to NULL in xhci_free_virt_device To fix driver's slot_id resources conflict, clear xhci->devs[slot_id] and xhci->dcbba->dev_context_ptrs[slot_id] pointers in the interrupt context when disable slot command completes successfully. Simultaneously, adjust function xhci_free_virt_device to accurately handle device release. Adjustments for pinctrl-amd debounce behavior

Hi, The issue that I originally fixed with commit 8ff4fb276e23 ("pinctrl: amd: Clear GPIO debounce for suspend") I have found out will be a problem on more platforms due to more designs switching to power button controlled this way. I think it would be a good idea to take it back to stable kernels. Thanks!

[PATCH 5.15.y] PCI: vmd: Assign VMD IRQ domain before enumeration

If interrupt-remapping is enabled by IOMMU, the PCI devices except VMD get new INTEL-IR-MSI IRQ domain. And VMD is supposed to create and assign a separate VMD-MSI IRQ domain for its child devices in order to support MSI-X remapping capabilities. Now when MSI-X remapping in VMD is disabled in order to improve performance, VMD skips VMD-MSI IRQ domain assignment process to its child devices. Thus the devices behind VMD get default PCI-MSI IRQ domain instead of INTEL-IR-MSI IRQ domain when VMD creates root bus and configures child devices. As a result host OS fails to boot and DMAR errors were observed when interrupt remapping was enabled on Intel Icelake CPUs. For instance: DMAR: DRHD: handling fault status reg 2 DMAR: [INTR-REMAP] Request device [0xe2:0x00.0] fault index 0xa00 [fault reason 0x25] Blocked a compatibility format interrupt request To fix this issue, dev_msi_info struct in dev struct maintains correct value of IRQ domain. VMD will use this information to assign proper IRQ domain to its child devices when it doesn't create a separate IRQ domain. [PATCH] HID: asus: fix UAF via HID_CLAIMED_INPUT validation

After hid_hw_start() is called hidinput_connect() will eventually be called to set up the device with the input layer since the HID_CONNECT_DEFAULT connect mask is used. During hidinput_connect() all input and output reports are processed and corresponding hid_inputs are allocated and configured via hidinput_configure_usages(). This process involves slot tagging report fields and configuring usages by setting relevant bits in the capability bitmaps. However it is possible that the capability bitmaps are not set at all leading to the subsequent hidinput_has_been_populated() check to fail leading to the freeing of the hid_input and the underlying input device. This becomes problematic because a malicious HID device like a ASUS ROG N-Key keyboard can trigger the above scenario via a specially crafted descriptor which then leads to a user-after-free when the name of the freed input device is written to later on after hid_hw_start().
