Hi all, I managed to build it in the end. My solution is:
Use Python 2.7.2. Don't use GCC 4.9 14.09 but GCC 4.9 14.07.
It was just a matter of version but I can't understand wy it does not work with 14.09 when on the Linaro Website those vesions are under components/toolchain for the release I want to use which is the 14.09.
Now I am confused. The BaseTools directory is not built with cross compilers.
Or is this a new problem?
https://git.linaro.org/leg/edk2.git/commit/60d71d1d9900d73418273ff9e5f31d010... makes it possible to build all the platforms currently in staging for linaro-edk2 2014.10 with the 14.09 toolchain.
The releases are still built using an older GCC 4.8-based toolchain.
