Hi all,
When I use generic BDS & boot manager, I found there's no highlight string. It's hard to distinguish which item I'm selecting.
How to enable highlight string when the terminal type is TTYTERMTYPE?
I'm not sure I understand the problem. Are you talking about the UiApp boot menu? For me, highlighting works fine there
Yes, I'm talking about the UiApp boot menu.
I also tested in TC2. I didn't get highlight string, too. Which platform are you using?
I see highlight working in the BDS menu on TC2. As I move the selection, it becomes inverse.
Perhaps there are many ways of doing highlight?
I'm using minicom as serial monitor. Do you use the same software?
No, I have my serial port plugged into a remote machine that runs ser2net, then I telnet to the port exposed by ser2net from a regular xfce4-terminal.
OK. I could observe highlight if I switch to ser2net.
Now the problem is which kind of monitor is preferred. serial monitor (minicom) or telnet monitor (ser2net)? If ser2net is preferred, could user execute interactive script to run automation test?
Best Regards Haojian
