Hi Tyler: Thanks your information, it is useful. For current status, i can pass "android_install_binaries" but getting stuck in "boot_linaro_android_image". I think the problem is still relevant to panda-driver. This web have four files about pandaboard driver you posted( https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/drivers) 20111114 20111216 20120430 20120807 i dont know which one is suitable for my pandaboard so i have tried everyone. Help in understanding how to generate Ubuntu images for LAVA from locally built kernel artefacts...

Hi, We wanted to have the ability to run tests in local LAVA setup on the Ubuntu config. Provided we have kernel.bin and dtb generated by a job locally, could someone please provide us with the details on How this can be packaged and made into the ubuntu image which can be launched in LAVA? hi: Does anyone knows how to use "android_install_binaries" command in json file? Please give me some suggestion. I am trying to perfome lava android test on pandaboard. Currently, i face a problem while json file execute "android_install_binaries". The log shows it tries to connect to http://192.168.1.21/LAVA_HTTP/android-binaries/panda-drivers.tgz. log: http://192.168.1.21/LAVA_HTTP/android-binaries/panda-drivers.tgz Connecting to 192.168.1.21:80... failed:Connection timed out. ktest: LAVA backend?

Hi, the KWG brought up ktest as a tool that works well for kernel developers local workflow and is accepted in the community. Being smart might mean that we expand ktest so that kernel developers can not only test on their local machine, but also get the board diversity and powers of LAVA to their local desk. Sounds good? Anyone can take a look if that is feasible at all and what the effort is? Do LAVA tests need re-organization?

Hello As you know I am working on OpenEmbedded for AArch64 and ARMv7a setups. Part of this work is adding LAVA tests. And this is where problem starts so after reading some scripts I decided that it will be better to just write an email and discuss it on ML. First thing is structure of tests and their data. We have git repo ssh://git.linaro.org/srv/git.linaro.org/git/qa/test-definitions.git with test definitions split to android/oe/ubuntu directories. Nicely done. But those test definitions fetch another set of repositories/files. Some are git, some are bzr and many of them are just single files. Can we move them to /qa/test-definitions.git to have one repository will all tests? Next thing is distro dependencies. For example perf test done for Ubuntu. First thing it does is finding out which exactly perf package it needs and install it. Why this is not done on image generation time? Especially when we know that all rootfs images we make end in LAVA... And can this part be moved to install-ubuntu.sh script so for OE I could just reuse script instead of creating a copy of it? Probably similar would be with others. What do you think?
